On Friday, April 21, Rhonda “Auren” Mitchell passed away unexpectedly from unknown causes.
She was the single parent of four teenage sons, Alan, Logan, Nathan and Ryan. There is no father in the picture and no other relatives capable of caring for them, and no life insurance or other financial resources left behind.
Their youth pastor at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Mike Mueller, his wife Renee, and their nine-year-old son, Mikey, have decided they will bring all four into their home so they can grow up together in one family. But the Muellers have limited personal financial resources of their own and seek community help for care of the brothers.
The Mueller family will now be moving to a larger house and will need to buy a seven-passenger vehicle. They also need bedroom furnishings, clothing and more for their four new family members, and funds for the boys’ future educational expenses.
