Letter to the editor: Yes on Kramer

During that time, I have learned a lot about Steve’s accessibility, responsiveness, work ethic, listening skills, collaboration talents and acceptance of responsibility.

From my work with, and observations of Steve, here is what he brings to our county:

First, Steve is very accessible and responsive to the citizens of Wasco County.

Second, Steve rolls up his sleeves to solve problems rather than finding someone to blame.

Third, Steve listens respectfully to both sides of an issue before making up his mind.

Fourth, Steve is collaborative. He tries to build consensus on an issue even when it involves people he disagrees with.

Finally, Steven accepts responsibility for his own actions. He is willing to admit his mistakes and goes about fixing them.

Honestly, we can’t do better than that in a commissioner.

I’ll be voting for Steve for re-election as our Wasco County Commissioners on May 17, and I urge your yes vote for Steve as well.
