HOOD RIVER — Port commissioners have authorized staff to lease up to 20 of 59 parking spaces the port recently developed on Anchor Way in the waterfront area.

Megan Channel, the port’s director of capital development and planning, conducted a lease study and recommended a charge of $150 per month per space, which commissioners approved. The decision came in response to a request from Lach Litwir, co-founder and owner of the Lightwell Hotel, to help alleviate downtown parking congestion.
