Letter to the Editor: Has MCMC lost its vision?

Obesity is a national problem; it takes a healthy diet along with exercise to counteract this trend.

The Bistro offers healthy food and it could also provide a place of teaching patients about healthy diet along with exercise.

The Dalles is attempting to become a Blue Zone City and the Bistro could be a good fit.

Surely there is a need for Urgent Care but there is also a need for healthy food options. A more efficient site for Urgent Care would be a site closer to the population both the east and west.

My hope is that MCMC will regain its vision.
