Looking for big fish?

Visitors can watch the fish leaping up the fish ladder, learn more about why and how fish are raised in hatcheries, watch a new generation of salmon being spawned, tour the hatchery, see adults in the holding ponds and take a look at the Fish Marking Trailer.

The hatchery will offer fish printing again this year (bring your own T-shirt or purchase a T-shirt at the hatchery and take home wearable art!) as well as other educational activities.

Light refreshments will also be available.

Spawning will be around September 16, 2002. Call the hatchery at 493-1730 for exact dates and times.
