Eagle baseball, track and field athletes earn all-state honors

HOOD RIVER – Hood River Valley High School had several baseball and track and field athletes earn OSAA Class 5A all-state honors for their efforts this spring.

The Eagle baseball team had six selections for the year, and four track and field athletes were honored.

For the baseball team, sophomore Landen Pratt earned second-team honors as a pitcher, and sophomore Tyson Harjo earned second-team utility player/designated hitter honors.

Honorable mention selections included: senior Bodie Stuben, infield; junior Davin Snyder, outfield; senior Maverick Hockett, outfield; and senior Kingston McAdam, catcher.

Among the track and field athletes, the boys had senior Francisco Solberg, second team pole vaulter, while Matt Trickey, was honorable mention in the 200- and 100-meter dashes.

On the girls side, freshman Diyora Khudoidodova earned second-team high jump honors, and sophomore Georgiana Williams was an honorable mention for the 200-meter dash.
