Columbia High’s baseball team lost four games the past two weeks, heading into this week’s district playoffs.
The playoffs were scheduled to begin on Monday, with the Bruins facing Montesano from the Evergreen League in Hoquiam (weather permitting) at Olympic Stadium.
Columbia was swept in its three-game series vs. Seton Catholic, where the Bruins were outscored, 43-9. Columbia also lost a non-league contest to Goldendale, 18-8, on May 3.
