Crawford Oaks Fire fully contained

A helicopter, one of several air resources mobilized in response to the Crawford Oaks Fire, rises from refilling in the Columbia River on July 3. The fire burned nearly 386 acres in the Columbia Hills Historical State Park just east of Dallesport and was completely contained by Sunday evening. The Dalles Mountain Ranch, Crawford Oaks and Horsethief Butte trailheads are closed until further notice.
