Klickitat County
White Salmon’s annual Parade and Music in the Park event will start at 11 a.m. The parade will wind through downtown White Salmon and end at Rheingarten Park, where there will be live music by Whiskey Flats.
Community Partners will hand out free snow cones and cotton candy during the concert, and volunteers are needed to set up the tent on July 3 (5 p.m.) and prepare shaved ice and cotton candy on July 4 — no experience necessary; email communitypartnersbws@gmail.com.
The Port of Klickitat will allow the discharge of fireworks from 8-10:45 p.m. at Bingen Point on July 4. A reminder: it is possible to legally purchase certain fireworks on federal or tribal lands that are in violation of Washington law (RCW 70.77), which will be confiscated at the event. Minors must be accompanied by an adult; fireworks are strictly limited to the hours of 8-10:45 p.m. on July 4 in the designated area; and no pets, alcohol, drugs, or weapons. Hood River County
Registration for the annual Kollas-Cranmer Memorial Run opens at 7 a.m. at the Odell Fire Station on July 4; walkers will begin the course at 8 a.m., and runners at 9 a.m. Registration is $20, and race t-shirts are available (in limited quantities) for an additional $20. Odell will host its annual parade looping through downtown begins at 4 p.m. Those wishing to participate should line up at Mid Valley Elementary beforehand.

Wasco County
The Fort Dalles Community Celebration has a full schedule of events, which can be found at fireworksinthedalles.com. The fun begins at 7 a.m. with the Rocket Run; a community breakfast takes place afterwards at 8 a.m.
The annual Hometown USA Fourth of July Parade starts at 10 a.m. at Sixth and Webber and will continue through downtown; register at thedalleschamber.com.
A flyover to mark America’s 250th birthday is planned between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Due to the high volume of requests and celebrations, the Western Antique Aeroplane & Automobile Museum, isn’t able to provide an exact time.
A community celebration kicks off at 7 p.m., with fireworks beginning at 10 p.m.
Gorge Winds Concert Band will mark the signing of the Declaration of Independence with a concert held behind the Chamber of Commerce Building, 404 W. Second St., The Dalles, around 11 a.m., after the downtown Fourth of July parade.
