Because two of the three Wasco County Commissioners are former Rotarians, and District Attorney Eric Nisley and Wasco County Counsel Brad Timmons are current members of The Rotary Club of The Dalles, a reminder seems timely in light of recent activity at the courthouse:
THE FOUR-WAY TEST — The Four-Way Test is a nonpartisan and nonsectarian ethical guide for Rotarians to use for their personal and professional relationships. The test has been translated into more than 100 languages, and Rotarians recite it at club meetings.)
Of the things we think, say or do: Is it the TRUTH? Is it FAIR to all concerned? Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
The impression we are getting is that passing grades on this test will require substantial work.
To all of these gentlemen, each of whom is widely held in high regard, we urge you to quickly find a way to return to a perfect score.
