Anne Sutton

Anne Loraine Grice Sutton was born on March 29, 1935, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Archie and Clara (Holzinger) Grice. She was raised and schooled in Indiana and Michigan. When she was 17, she lost her mind and married De Forrest Sutton. They lived their entire 43 years of marriage in Michigan, where she was blessed with four perfect children.

After the death of her husband in 1996, she divided her time, over the next 30 years, between Michigan and Oregon, volunteering for a number of organizations including American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, St. Vincent de Paul ministry office, a domestic violence shelter, food banks and various churches. She enjoyed reading, needlework, and playing Bridge in her spare time.
