Former Gorge Winds conductor Danny Schneider leads the band through 2023's Fourth of July concert.

THE DALLES — The Gorge Winds Concert Band will perform its 2024 4th of July Concert in The Dalles City Park at 11 a.m., just after the community parade.

Music lovers are invited to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets to sit on the grass and enjoy a variety of songs at the outdoor stage, including patriotic numbers appropriate to the occasion, like well-known John Phillip Sousa marches.
