The third Thursday of Sprint Families in the Park will bring the smooth jazz sounds of Tom Grant Band to Jackson Park in Hood River on Thursday, Aug. 21.

Grant, and his band, will be on stage at 7 p.m. and perform a two-hour concert. Grant, instrumentalist and singer, nimbly walks the line between jazz tradition and modern pop. He plays piano with the harmonic sophistication and deep sense of swing that only comes from more than three decades on the stage. His recordings consistently land on top of national New Adult Contemporary/Smooth Jazz charts. As the Pacific Northwest's most renowned musical artist, Grant career achievements reflect his unique ability to embrace the full spectrum of contemporary music.
