Horizon girls lose first home league game after a 3-0 start

Sophomore Fionna Marsalis, a key player on both ends of the floor for the Hawks, left Tuesday night’s league game in the third with an apparent back injury.

After a dominant 45-7 win over Mitchell/Spray last weekend, the Horizon girls basketball team welcomed South Wasco County to the Hawks Nest on Tuesday night.

With a win, the girls would have opened league competition at home undefeated with a 3-0 record, but South Wasco County would get the best of the Hawks, winning by a final score of 56-27.
