Letter to the editor: Chronicle in the dog house

I expected an article to appear in The Chronicle. However, I was appalled to see the article this Sunday! The writer of the article should be taken to task for the errors involved. The Chronicle owes Ms. DePriest and Turbo a definite apology!

Error Number One. Under both front page pictures, Turbo’s breed was listed as border collie. This dog is NOT Lassie! Collies are herd dogs, Turbo is a rodent catcher.

Fie upon you! One of the top awards any breeder can be awarded in the entire USA, and to someone in our community. Wow! Shame on The Dalles Chronicle!
