(The Center Square) – While Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and the FBI tout declining crime rates, others remain concerned about persistently high rates in the state’s metropolitan areas.

New data from both state and federal law enforcement for 2025 shows drops in violent crimes, including rapes, assaults, and theft.
