The Snoopyverse is expanding on Apple TV with the return of a fan-favorite series and an all-new original special. It’s all good, no grief!
On Tuesday (May 19), the streaming home of Charlie Brown & Co. unveiled itssummer lineup of Peanuts programming, including the Season 2 debut of their musical Camp Snoopy on Friday, June 26. Per the announcement, “Snoopy and the Beagle Scouts are looking forward to carefree time in the majestic landscape of Camp Spring Lake” as the gang takes in the great outdoors, hunt for an elusive hedge toad and (this is important), “debate the merits of hot dogs versus hamburgers.”

Additionally, Apple TV has reserved Friday, July 31 for their newspecial, Snoopy Presents: There’s No Place Like Home, Snoopy. Unlike the 1972 feature Snoopy, Come Home, which saw our favorite Beagle ever leaving Chuck to reunite with his ailing first owner, the new tale finds Snoopy “devastated when his beloved doghouse is accidentally sold at a yard sale. In an effort to cheer up his pal, Charlie Brown leads Snoopy on an adventure to find his old doghouse and along the way, they learn what makes a house truly a home.” It’sexecutive-produced by Josh Scherba, Stephanie Betts, Logan McPherson, Paige Braddock, Chris Bracco, and Mark Evestaff.

And finally, for the first time ever, two Peanuts classics from Mendelson/Melendez Productions will make their debuts on Apple TV. On July 3, the first-ever animated miniseries in TV history, 1988’s This is America, Charlie Brown will drop, followed on July 10 by The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show, which ran from 1983 to ’86 on CBS’s Saturday mornings.
