With deep love and sadness, we announce the passing of Diane Yvonne King, who passed away peacefully on May 14, 2026, at the age of 90, surrounded by her loving family.
Diane was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose kindness and strength touched everyone who knew her. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold, with whom she shared many wonderful years of marriage, love, and family. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Anne Schilling, and her siblings Joann, Delores, Kenneth and Norma.
She leaves behind six cherished children: Robert, Thomas, Kathleen, Kristina, Susan and Rebecca, along with 13 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Known for her warm heart, gentle wisdom, and unwavering love for her family, Diane created a home filled with laughter, comfort, and unforgettable traditions. Whether sharing stories around the table, offering a helping hand, or simply listening with compassion, she made everyone feel loved.
Diane will be interned with her husband at the Willamette National military cemetery in Happy Valley, Oregon. The family kindly asks that she be remembered not with sadness alone, but with gratitude for the love and joy she shared so freely.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
