History Mystery: May 6, 2926

Last week’s photo showed a “high bridge” on Badger Creek, on Chenowith Road near The Dalles, being “broken up and toted away” according to its caption in The Dalles Chronicle on April 28, 1966. Thanks to Shelly Hinatsu, who recognized her childhood neighborhood in Murray’s addition, with Bob Fraley’s home visible on the right and Roy Pugh’s house on the left. A new road was constructed when the bridge was gone:
