Entertainment Update for July 11 Edition

FIRST FRIDAY FANS: Oak Street was closed off for the July 6 First Friday, providing lots of room for Hula Hoops, E-Bike rides, and of course rocking out to Tony Smiley in the Oak Street Pub parking lot with music fans (and News co-workers) Suzette Gehring and Jody Thompson. Columbia Arts opened the Best of the Gorge exhibit — running through July — that includes large format photography from Stephen Datnoff, lifecasting art from Peny Wallace and host of others. — Jim Drake

The Lower Light at Everybody’s

There’s free live music on Friday, July 13, 9:30 p.m. at Everybody’s Brewing. The Lower Light is “a unique, acoustic celebration of history and works from Pearl Jam/ Alice In Chains, Mother Love Bone, Temple Of The Dog and Mad Season.”
