Community Open House April 7, 6 p.m. at Marine Park Pavilion, 395 SW Portage Road, Cascade Locks
CASCADE LOCKS —The Port of Cascade Locks is inviting the public to attend a community open house on Tuesday, April 7, beginning at 6 p.m., at the Marine Park Pavilion located at 395 SW Portage Road in Cascade Locks. The event will provide information and gather public input on a proposed campground and RV park development on Port-owned property on the east side of Cascade Locks.
The proposed development would establish a campground and RV park with more than 100 sites. The Port is exploring this project to help address growing demand for overnight accommodations in the Columbia River Gorge, support local businesses, and ensure Port-owned land is used in a way that benefits the Cascade Locks community.
“This open house is an important step in our planning process. We want to hear from residents, business owners, and visitors about what they value and what is important to them” said Jeremiah Blue, Port Executive Director. “Public input will help inform how this project is developed and operated, and we encourage everyone with an interest in the future of Cascade Locks to attend and participate.”
