Center for Art looking for playwrights

CAST theater and CCA invite playwrights and filmakers whether this is your first play/film or you've been writing/filming for years, to submit scripts or films for inclusion in CAST's first Annual Play Writers Showcase and local Film makers Night.

Some things to remember:

All plays must be performed in less than 30 minutes.

The work must have a beginning that grabs your attention, middle with some meat and character development, and an ending that makes sense. It can surprise you, shock you, make you laugh, make you cry, make you think, but it must have an ending.

The CAST Performance Committee will have the final say about play selection for the one evening Play writers Showcase.

This event will be free to the public and offered as part of Columbia Arts "Get Centered" celebration.
