“Jodi has really stepped up as a team leader in the last few matches,” Fanene said. “She was recently nominated as co-team captain and has done a great job at being a vocal leader. I am so proud of how Jodi has really captured the team’s chemistry and has put the team first before her own success. I know she continues to chip away at bettering her hitting percentage, but she has been great at not letting errors affect her and continues to stay positive. She has been a great influence on the team and has been a major part of the team’s success - which cannot only be measured by wins, but by how much we have improved over the season.”
