The Dalles secured a playoff bid last week by defeating Hermiston, 3-1. In Thomasian’s performances, she finished with 27 digs, 13 kills, 6 blocks and 2 aces against Hermiston and Pendleton.

On the week, she had 17 kills with only 2 errors on 35 total swings for a hitting percentage of .429. Seibel also added on six digs, two blocks and two assists.

The Hermiston Bulldogs notched 22 block touches, including six to the floor in Thursday’s four-game Columbia River Conference victory at Kurtz Gym in The Dalles.

There were times where she felt like cashing in her chips and moving on, but she has always been taught to fight to achieve a goal. That mentality has paved the way for a future at Linfield College, where The Dalles senior signed on to play volleyball and major in business.
