The latest victory for the girls came on the road March 22, when they beat Central Catholic by a final score of 14-4.
In the victory over the Rams, Abigail Bartles led an aggressive Eagles attack as she had the most goals on the day with three.
Bartles also added an assist to her three goals scored.
The Eagles may have been led by Bartles in goals against the Rams, but behind her was a balanced HRV attack as four different girls scored two goals each.
Kathryn Koenig was one of the four HRV athletes with two goals scored versus Central Catholic and she had five of the Eagles 12 total draw controls won.
With two goals and a team-leading three assists versus the Rams was Katherine McElderry.
Emma Norris and Lauren Trumbull were the other two Eagles with two goals versus the Rams; Trumbull led the Eagles in draw controls won with six.
Sonja Joplin-Clay, Isabella Simpson and Alex Willis scored the other three goals.
Offensively, the Eagles shot 14-31 with half of their goals coming off assists — seven total assists as a team.
HRV was able to get both Ella Rand and Sofia Newton time in the goal versus Central Catholic.
Rand, the starting goalie for HRV, played the first half and did not allow a single goal and saved two shots, technically a perfect game from a goalie’s standpoint, as she had a save percentage of 100 percent.
In the second half, Newton came in for the girls and allowed four goals, but was able to get one save.
Defensively, the Eagles held the Rams to only four goals in four quarters on 4-7 shooting.
HRV heads into spring break this week with a 3-0 start to the season and won’t be back in action until they travel to Wilson on April 3.
The Eagles next home game will be against Westview on April 6.
