After five-straight wins to open conference play, the HRV girls lacrosse team came into this week’s competition with a chance to suffer back-to-back losses for the first time in league this season, after falling at home to Lincoln by a final score of 8-4 on May 3.

Last week, the HRV girls lacrosse team had its biggest game of the regular season as the number one seed in the Portland League Conference was up for grabs in Hood River.

After a 5-0 start to the season and a 2-0 start in conference, the HRV girls lacrosse team dropped its first game of the season on Tuesday, April 10 against conference opponent the Lincoln Cardinals. However, the girls wouldn’t go down without a fight.
