10U baseball finishes third at state

Hood River’s 10U baseball team finished its season with a third-place finish at the 2018 Oregon State Tournament in Salem. Hood River opened the state tournament with back-to-back wins but would drop its final two games to end the tournament with a 2-2 record. In Hood River’s first matchup versus Klamath Falls, Bodie Stuben (pictured) and Maverick Hockett combined to toss a one-hitter in the All-Stars 10-0 victory.

Hood River Valley’s 10U Oregon All-Star District-5 Little League Championship Baseball team had a remarkable accomplishment in reaching the 2018 Oregon State Tournament.

The Hood River All-Stars (6-2 overall) concluded the season with a spectacular performance by taking third place out of a total of 64 teams that competed at district and state level tournaments.
