Waucoma is located at 212 Oak Street, Hood River.
The book
People can be quite unkind at times. Wouldn’t you agree? Our family vividly recalls the impact of unpleasant people and the challenges they brought. Ultimately, the difficult encounters taught us the importance of resilience in the face of adversity and the value of kindness.
The author
Mary Jane Heppe is a local author who has lived in Hood River for over 20 years. Mary Jane is a certified holistic Lyme disease coach and a national advocate and educator. She writes poetry, vignettes, and scientific articles. This her first children’s book.
