Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:
Sept. 8 — S.W. WaNaPa Street, Cascade Locks — Male arrested for assault IV felony.
Sept. 14 — May Street — Deputy took report of ongoing harassment via Facebook.
Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):
Sept. 10 — Herman Creek, Cascade Locks — Male cited for unlawful possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.
Dept. 17 — Indian Creek Road, 1200 block — Male juvenile arrested for unlawful possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of less than one ounce of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school. He was lodged at NORCOR.
Disorderly conduct, mischief, trespass and vandalism:
Sept. 9 — May Street, 3200 block — Deputy received a report of two slashed tires from a motor vehicle.
Sept. 16 — Allen Road, 6900 block — Deputy took information in regards to criminal mischief I, theft II and criminal trespass II.
Driving under the influence of intoxicants:
Sept. 14 — E. State Street at Second Street — Male arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. He was also cited for minor in possession of alcohol and no operator’s license. BAC registered .22 percent. He was lodged at NORCOR.
Sept. 16 — Tucker Road, 1800 block — One driver, after a three-car motor vehicle crash, fled the scene and was pursued by a victim in the crash, and was eventually located and apprehended. He submitted to a breath test and was lodged at NORCOR for several traffic crimes.
Identity theft or bank/credit card fraud:
Sept. 9 — Baseline Drive, 4900 block — Deputy recovered two forged $20 bills.
Sept. 10 — Trout Creek Ridge Road, 6400 block — Identity theft reported.
Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:
Sept. 8 — AGA Road at Odell Highway — Driver cited for no operator’s license and driving uninsured, and the vehicle towed.
Sept. 8 — Highway 281 near Highway 282 — Male arrested for driving while suspended misdemeanor and lodged at NORCOR.
Sept. 8 — Tucker Park — Vehicle with Washington plates stopped for failure to drive within lane. Driver was driving with a suspended violation. The vehicle was towed.
Sept. 9 — Highway 35 at milepost 98 — Vehicle towed for no insurance and several other violations.
Sept. 11 — Bridge of the Gods, Cascade Locks — Vehicle towed for driving uninsured.
Sept. 12 — AGA Road, 3300 block — Deputy responded to a report of a hit-and-run. No injuries were reported.
Sept. 13 — Wy’east Road, 2500 block — Male unlicensed driver failed to maintain control of his vehicle after negotiating a 90-degree corner at a high rate of speed. The driver went off the road and into an orchard, where he damaged two pear trees.
Sept. 14 — I-84 at milepost 57 — Vehicle stopped after driver failed to drive in the right hand lane. Driver cited for no operator’s license and driving uninsured, and the vehicle towed.
Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:
Sept. 9 — Odell Highway at Dethman Ridge— Male arrested for a probation violation detainer. BAC registered .12 percent. He was lodged at NORCOR.
Sept. 18 — Ackerman Drive, 3900 block — Female arrested for two probation violation warrants and lodged at NORCOR.
Theft or burglary:
Sept 9 — Herman Creek Road, Cascade Locks — Deputy helped retrieve a vehicle stolen out of Portland, Ore. The owner was notified.
Sept. 11 — Tucker Road, 1400 block — Deputy took report of a theft from a storage unit believed to have occurred Aug. 25.
Sept. 11 — Tucker Road, 1400 block — Report was made of items being taken from a storage unit.
Sept. 15 — Mark O. Hatfield Trailhead West — A bicycle was reported stolen.
Sept. 16 — Chevron Drive, 3600 block — An Odell resident reported the theft of two firearms from an unsecured camp trailer.
Sept. 17 — Gravel Pit — A contractor from Tacoma, Wash., reported tools being stolen from his service truck.
Sept. 18 — E. Sherman Avenue, 100 block — Deputy assisted the Hood River Police Department with the arrest of a male subject. He was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, resisting arrest, criminal trespass II, harassment, burglary II and theft III.
Other:
Sept. 9 — Airport Drive, 3600 block — Male arrested for improper use of 9-1-1 after making numerous calls for no emergency reason. He was lodged at NORCOR.
Sept. 10 — Tucker Park — Found property was recovered at the Parkdale Fire Department.
Sept. 14 — S.W. Wasco Street, 0-100 block, Cascade Locks — Male arrested for failure to register as a sex offender.
Sept. 15 — Culbertson Drive, 7800 block — Three juveniles were cited for minor in possession of alcohol after being contacted during a reported criminal trespass.
