THE DALLES — Online pre-registration for the North Wasco County School District (NWCSD) 2026-2027 kindergarten class is now open.
To be eligible for enrollment, children must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1. While the initial registration is digital, each elementary school will host in-person orientation events to welcome new students and their families later this spring.
Registration checklist: What to bring
To ensure a smooth enrollment process, please have the following items ready for your school’s orientation or in-person verification:
• Proof of age (birth certificate)
• Immunization records
• Proof of residency — We will accept the following documents: Rental agreement, mortgage statement, landlord letter, water, sewer, garbage, phone or internet/cable bill with address listed.
