Two vehicle prowls. Parkdale, Rachel Way.
Three injury traffic crashes. One happened in the 13500 block of Highway 35 in the first days of December. In the second, on Dec. 13, a vehicle overturned near Baseline Drive and Jordan Road, trapping one or more people inside. In the third case, a deputy investigated a two-vehicle crash on Highway 282.
Eight non-injury traffic crashes. Highway 35, Summit Drive/Gilhouley Road, Dethman Ridge/Highway 35, milepost 72 of Highway 35, Parkdale, I-84 near milepost 61, 16000 block of Highway 35. In one incident, a water pipe near Highway 281/Iowa Drive was damaged by a single-vehicle crash.
Disturbance at Bridge of the Gods.
Fifteen thefts. Vehicle, battery and keys from vehicle, trailer, package from porch (two), unspecified theft on Wy’east Road, semi-trailer, identify theft (two), shoplifting, theft from vehicle, mail theft on Barrett Drive, theft at Starvation Creek Park, mail theft near Highway 35 and Endow, not described.
Hit-and-run crash on Highway 35, near Baldwin Creek, Dec. 4.

Burglary at Cascade Locks residence on Dec. 5. Burglary on Tucker Road Dec. 21. A storage container was entered and a set of wheels taken on Dec. 23, on Columbia Gorge Way.

Hood River Police, Dec. 29 - Jan. 7
The following charges resulted in arrests: Drug law violation (three), theft (one), trespass (two), warrant (four).
Notable incidents
Four warrant arrests. In one, a resident was arrested and lodged at NORCOR for an outstanding warrant and unlawful possession of methamphetamine.
Three theft reports. Shoplifting (two; beer, multiple iPads) and fraudulent use of credit card.
Three reports of unlawful entry into motor vehicle, each with several items stolen, on the same night within the same neighborhood.
Three hit-and-run reports. Locations were Ninth/Eugene, Portway Avenue parking lot and Sherman Avenue.
Two trespass arrests. In one, a transient person was lodged on charges of trespassing, theft and parole violation.
Two non-injury vehicle crashes. Locations were Thirteenth/Belmont and Third/Oak.
The Dalles Police, Jan. 3 - 8
The following charges resulted in arrests: Assault (one), charge not logged (one), disorderly conduct (one), DUII (one), false information (one), interfering with officer (one), possession of drugs (one), resisting arrest (one), warrant (eight).
Notable incidents
Nine animal calls. Dogs at large, surrendered to Humane Society, shut inside, chasing kids and other dogs, barking.
Two hit-and-run reports. In one, a possibly intoxicated driver hit a parked car on E. 10th Jan. 8. The suspect vehicle broke an axle, and was missing a right wheel; suspect arrested on multiple charges.
Officers assisted with an unconscious person possibly overdosing on Second Street. After four narcans were administered the person was conscious, and refused treatment.
Officers assisted Intertribe with an assault.
County led the pursuit on Sixth Street Jan. 4, from near the Sinclaire gas station, which ended in a high-risk stop when the pursued car was stopped on I-84 near milepost 80, after OSP troopers set spikes.

A non-injury crash. On Jan. 5, a Lincoln Navigator left its lane on Highway 35, near northbound milepost 60.5; hit a snowbank, then a guardrail; and rolled.
