Harrisburg, Pa. — Three Republican state representatives are urging colleagues to join them in their mission to legalize the castration of convicted child sex offenders.
(The Center Square) - The U.S. Department of Justice will release three million documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein throughout the day on Friday, according to a DOJ official.
HOOD RIVER — Investigators arrested a 16-year-old Hood River resident on Jan. 28, in connection with the fatal shooting of Yahir Castillo-Alvarez two weeks pasts. A second suspect is still at large.

(The Center Square) – So far, 87 people have been indicted by a federal grand jury in Nebraska for their roles in a jackpotting scheme using malware at ATMs to steal millions of dollars from banks nationwide.
Fred Smith and Barney Scott, Granddalles ranchers, pleaded guilty to the charge of violating the liquor laws and were given sentences of six months and fines of $250 each, by Judged Robert S. Bean in the Portland federal court yesterday. The men were given five days in which to settle up their affairs. George Pepper, arrested with the other two, was not prosecuted.
