White Salmon Valley Pool Metropolitan Park District update — White Salmon’s pool project reached its fall fundraising goal; the board will soon meet with legislators to lobby for the final funding that they need from the state. Hood River Farmers Market — Gorge Grown Food Network is accepting applications for businesses to attend the Hood River Farmers Market’s regular season, every Saturday, May through November in downtown Hood River. Vendor applications and more information can be found on Gorge Grown’s website, www.gorgegrown.com/farmmarket/vendor. To ensure consideration for the 2026 season, farmers and food vendors should apply by Feb. 12. Artists and craft makers must apply by March 2. Northern Wasco County People’s Utility District — A quorum of the Northern Wasco County People’s Utility District (NWCPUD) Board of Directors will be attendance at the Special Districts Association of Oregon (SDAO) Annual Pre-Conference and Conference Feb. 5-8 at the Seaside Convention Center, Seaside, Oregon. No action will be taken by the NWCPUD Board of Directors during this meeting.
