Longest night observance in White Salmon

WHITE SALMON — All are welcome to participate in the Longest Night candle light walk in Rhinegarten Park on Friday, Dec. 20 starting at 5 p.m. Rather than flashlights or phone lights, organizers encourage you to bring a lantern or candle to follow the luminary lit path through the park. Some candles will be available for use. Hot chocolate will served in the picnic shelter at the end of the walk.

“This is a quiet, contemplative walk before the longest night and in anticipation of more daylight returning,” said a news release.
