Dancing winner

Desiree Cozad, local dental assistant and group fitness instructor, was named the 2025 Mirror Ball winner of the annual Dancing with the Gorge Stars dance competition and fundraiser. The event, benefiting the Mid-Columbia Community Concert Association, was held at The Dalles High School auditorium last Friday. Cozad and five other contestants competed, performing ballroom dance routines they rehearsed with professionals from the Utah Ballroom Dance Co. Results were decided in a combination of judges scores and audience voting.
