WHITE SALMON — Columbia High School’s (CHS) Knowledge Bowl team has done it again, winning its second State Championship in a row.
Team members are Kiki Barkhimer, Graham Beck, Anders Daly, and Sylvia Pimley, coached by Omar Sankari.
“This incredible accomplishment reflects not only their talent, but also months of hard work, dedication, and teamwork,” said a district communication. “After a strong showing all season, the team traveled to Wenatchee where they advanced to the final round and secured the championship title for the second year in a row.
“We also want to recognize and celebrate the entire Knowledge Bowl team,” continued the release. “This achievement is the result of a full season of commitment, practice, and collaboration. Every team member who competed throughout the year played an important role in building the success that led to this championship moment.”
