Recognizing and shifting ADHD procrastination

If you live with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), you may have a hard time getting things done in a timely manner. Procrastination can be a sign of ADHD — especially when it’s driven by difficulties with executive functioning rather than a lack of motivation. It’s not like you don’t understand the importance of the tasks in front of you, but sometimes it may feel simply impossible to start and finish tasks on time. You may put these tasks off longer and longer, which can cause serious consequences in your life.
