Looking for fun? Try mini-golf this weekend

A classic mini-golf obstacle: the windmill.

Hood River’s only full-size indoor “Glow in the Dark” 18-hole mini-golf course opens its doors again at Immanuel Lutheran Church, at Ninth and State streets. All proceeds go towards Immanuel’s middle school and senior high youth ministries. Hours are Nov. 27, 5 to 8 p.m., and Nov. 28, 2 to 8 p.m. Cost is $5 per person for 18 holes. Each hand-made challenge is different, and include a loop-the-loop, jumps and obstacles — one that goes up and over a stairway, another dazzled by strobes — and, of course, the classic windmill, above. Youth and adult volunteers will be there to guide first-timers. For more details, go to www.ImmanuelHR.org.
