THE DALLES — Politics isn’t just for pundits or retirees. It’s for everyone with a stake in the future — and that means you.
On Nov. 9 at the Mid-Columbia Senior Center, the Wasco County Democrats will host a Candidates Forum featuring candidates running for the Democratic nomination for the Oregon Congressional seat currently held by Cliff Bentz, starting at 1 p.m. This is a space for real questions, real answers, and real impact, especially for all voters.
“We’re inviting the next generation of voters to show up and shape the conversation,” said Dean Myerson, Wasco Democrats treasurer and one of the event organizers. “Whether you care about housing, climate, education, or jobs — this is your chance to ask the people who want your vote what they’re going to do about it.”
The event will feature a live Q&A with candidates from around our district, candidates meet and greet, and light refreshments in a relaxed atmosphere. All ages welcome. No RSVP required.
