There is a new phishing scam occurring in other parts of the United States of which you should be aware. Several tolling agencies around the country are reporting texts claiming that people have outstanding toll charges and requesting personal financial information to settle those amounts.

The texts purport to be from tolling agencies and center around urgent requests with your account that would result in a late fee if the balance does not get settled. Customers who receive an unsolicited text, email, or similar message suggesting it is from any toll agency should not click on the link.
