WHITE SALMON — Friends of the White Salmon Valley Community Library (FOL) hosts its annual used book sale Friday, March 21 to Sunday, March 23 in the Sprint/Baker Gallery at the library.
The sale is open to the public. On Friday and Saturday, hours will be from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. On Sunday, bring a bag and fill it with books for only $3.
Thanks to the generosity of the community, this sale promises to be one of the largest and best ever. Find current contemporary fiction and non-fiction, children and young adult books, cookbooks, history, self-help, classic literature, fantasy, sci-fi, media and music CDs, as well as art books and book collections that include vintage publications.
A pre-sale will be held for FOL members on Thursday, March 20 from 5-7 p.m. Not a member? Annual memberships will be available for purchase at the door — $5 for students and seniors, $15 for individuals and $25 for families.
The annual sale is FOL’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and supports programs including child and adult literacy, arts and crafts, teen programs, the annual December holiday event, and more. Take this opportunity to support the Friends of the White Salmon Valley Community Library and those who depend on its services.
If you can’t make the sale, you can buy used books all year long at the FOL bookstore, located inside the library and open during regular library hours, Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
