KLICKITAT CO. — Thanks to the swift and effective fire response efforts, 82% of primary residences within the fire footprint were saved. The preliminary assessment indicates the following for structure damage:
● Primary residences: 47 damaged; 19 destroyed
● Minor structures: 50 damaged; 30 destroyed
Community support is needed to assist victims of the Burdoin and Snyder Canyon wildfires. Financial donations are being accepted at this time and arrangements are being made to streamline the donation of in-kind items, additional information to be provided once confirmed.
Financial donations can be made to the Klickitat Valley Fire Victims Fund in support of the Burdoin-Snyder Wildfire Relief Fund. 100% of funds collected will go directly to the fire victims. Ways to donate:
