Jonalyn Horsefall of Grampa Don's Garden Stones has brought many a garden path to life with her whimsical and colorful stones. She has recently branched out into cheese trays, drawer pulls and a line of dishes for 4-legged family members, called "Bone Appetit." Horsefall is a favorite at Nordstrum trunk sales, and is as lively to meet as her wares are bright.
Jill Roberts of Terra Cottage is a creator of twig furniture, trellises and garden accessories -- "inspired by nature, crafted by hand." With a degree in horticulture and a background in art, she has created functional and decorative twig fixtures that not only embellish the garden, but often find their way into the home. Roberts will have her chairs, tables, plant stands, trellises, obelisks and candle holders available on Saturday.
What garden patio is complete without the barbecue? Stephanie Bausch will be at the grill with Whiskey Flats Barbecue Glaze made by her husband, Troy, a graduate of Western Culinary Institute. A base of honey, bourbon whiskey and apples will be sure to spike your next outdoor event.
Artists, Authors and Entrepreneurs continues each Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Collage of the Gorge. The event features folk who live in or are inspired by the Columbia River Gorge.
