Lyle scored 34 runs on 25 hits in sweeping a Greater Columbia B League baseball double-header from Mabton there last Friday.
The Cougars (4-2, 9-4) won the first game, 20-5, in five innings, rapping out 15 hits in support of starting pitcher Cord Cothren's and reliever Brady Huffman's combined four-hitter.
Mike Murphy (3/4), Tyler Wells (2/5) and James Jackson (1/2, 3 stolen bases) each drove in two runs for Lyle.
Lyle also got run-scoring hits from Cothren (3/5), Huffman (1/3), Ty Freemantle (2/5) and Reggie Grace (2/4).
The Cougars exploded for 13 runs in the top of the third inning to build a commanding 17-2 lead.
In game two, Grace got the start and dominated Vikings batters with breaking balls that kept them off balance all game.
"Reggie's slider was the best I've ever seen it," Cougars Coach Scott Myers said.
Grace struck out 10 and allowed three hits in Lyle's five-inning 14-3 victory. Only one of the three runs he yielded was earned.
Lyle's offense, which capitalized on 10 hits and nine Mabton errors, was led by Huffman (2/3, double, 3 RBIs) and Wells (2/4, double, 2 RBIs).
Freemantle (2 stolen bases) and Grace (2/4, triple, RBI) also contributed to the Cougars' offensive success, which included five-run and six-run rallies.

The Cougars held on for the win after getting off to a 15-3 lead through four innings of the April 11 non-league game.
"After we got the big lead, we used some pitchers with little experience and they came back on us," Cougars Coach Scott Myers said. "But we held them off at the end."
Lyle scored 14 of its 15 runs in the second, third and fourth innings. It finished with 15 hits.
Tyler Wells (3/4) and Cord Cothren (2/2) both batted in two runs for Lyle.
Reggie Grace (3 steals, RBI), Kyle Nagy (triple, RBI) and Chris Wolf each had two hits.
The Cougars also got run-scoring hits from Ty Freemantle, Mike Murphy and Brady Huffman (double).
