Offensively, the Cougars got two hits each from Tara Rappe, Kristin Brown and Dawn Ullom.

Rappe slugged a home run and drove in two runs. Jessica Struck added a run-scoring single.

In the nightcap, Lyle committed eight of its 11 errors in the first three innings and fell behind, 12-3.

McMurrin went 2 for 3 and batted in a run to lead the Cougars. Brown also had a run-scoring basehit.

At Mabton 17-18, Klickitat/Glenwood 16-4 --

The Vikings tallied five runs in the bottom of the sixth to steal game one, and outhit the Vandals, 20-4, on their way to a mercy-rule victory in game two.

Klickitat/Glenwood had 15 hits in the opener and led, 15-12, after scoring three times in the top of the sixth inning.

In the nightcap, Mabton scored six runs in both the third and fourth innings to build an 18-3 bulge.
