Basketball season has started. There was a game in Klickitat on Wednesday, Dec. 3, starting at 5 p.m. On Friday, Dec. 5, and Saturday, Dec. 6, is the Mt. Adams Shoot-out in Trout Lake. Games start at 3 p.m. on Friday and noon on Saturday.
For the junior high, there will be a game with Lyle on Dec. 4 at 5 p.m. in Glenwood.
The book fair begins Thursday, Dec. 4.
The food drive started Dec. 1 and runs to Dec. 18. Please help donate to this cause.
Dilan Eugene Spies was born at 8:22 a.m. on Nov. 25, 2008,. At birth, he weighed 7 pounds 5 ounces and was 19.5 inches long.
Grandparents are Darrel Spies of Glenwood and Debbie and Terry Groves of Hood River. Great-grandparents are Harry and Lois Deschand and Annella Groves of Klickitat.
Tripp Brian Beeks was born to Cassie Robison and Cody Beeks on Nov. 13, 2008. At birth, he weighed 8 pounds 11 ounces and was 21 inches long.
Grandparents are Mindy and Randel Robison, Stacie Baker, and Calvin Beeks Jr. Great-grandparents are Calvin and Betty Beeks of Goldendale and Jerry and Lois Baker of White Salmon.
Mark it on your calendar. The Shade Tree Inn Restaurant will be closed on Monday and Tuesday for the winter (until April). The store and gas station will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
