The victim of a recent burglary in White Salmon has offered a $3,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the theft.
A safe was stolen from the Bartholomew residence in White Salmon, and the owner is posting the reward to go to the person who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the people responsible for the theft.
Anyone with information is requested to please call the Bingen-White Salmon Police Department at 493-1177. All calls will be kept confidential.
According to Police Chief Bruce Brending, the contents of the safe included gold and silver coins; silver proof sets; gold nuggets; a 25th anniversary World Series of Poker chip set; one new Glock 17 9mm semi-automatic pistol; a Ruger 9mm semi-automatic pistol; and hundreds of silver dollars, half dollars, quarters, and dimes.
"We would like the public's help in solving this crime," Brending said. "The Bartholomews and the Bingen-White Salmon Police Department thank you."
