AMC presents the 2nd annual Gene Adkisson Memorial Classic Golf Tournament, Friday, Oct. 4, at Elk Ridge Golf Course, Carson Hot Springs Golf and Spa Resort.
The tournament will be an 18-hole shamble, a scramble with elements of stroke play. Play single, or in teams of two or four.
Registration is at 11 a.m. There will be a noon shotgun start. Entry fee is $100. Entry fee includes golf, lunch, a drink ticket, tee prizes, and entry to the Octoberfest Harvest Dinner that follows. The tournament is a benefit for the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center.
Awarding of tee prizes and the Octoberfest dinner with live music will follow, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. (Be sure to wear your lederhosen). Spouses are invited to play or they may attend the dinner for a $25 donation. Carts are limited so get your reservations in early. Carts are additional.
