Person arrested on drug charges

WARM SPRINGS — On June 16, a Warm Springs police officer arrested Steven Daniel Pharris, 48-year-old computer tech from Tygh Valley, on charges of unlawful distribution of controlled substance, unlawful possession of controlled substance, unlawful distribution and possession of methamphetamine, possession of prohibited firearms (machine gun, short-barrel, silencers), two counts theft I, theft II, possession of a stolen vehicle, and felony and misdemeanor counts of felon in possession of a weapon. Pharris was booked and released at NORCOR.
