WHITE SALMON — The Columbia High School (CHS) football team lost, 44-0, to the Stevenson High School Bulldogs on Oct. 31 at Columbia High School.
Despite the rainy conditions, the Bulldogs got the ground game going from start to finish, while the Bruins couldn’t find the endzone on the final night of the 2025 season for both teams.
Stevenson (2-6) jumped out to a 28-0 lead by halftime behind a couple of long TD runs and a wide receiver pass. The Bulldogs forced a three-and-out and a short punt set up Stevenson at the Bruin 41-yard line with 9:34 left in the first quarter. A minute later, Seth Marshall found the end zone with a 26-yard touchdown run.
Stevenson again got good field position after the Bruins (2-6) faked a punt on fourth down. Columbia quarterback Hunter Wang’s pass fell incomplete, setting up the Bulldogs at the Bruin 37-yard line. A few plays later, Stevenson quarterback Jude Travinski broke away from the defense for a 26-yard touchdown run.
The Bulldogs found the endzone two more times — on a 49-yard lateral-pass play and a five-yard run — before halftime, owning a 28-0 lead at the break.
The Bruins put together a good drive down to the Bulldog 19, but Stevenson picked off a pass from Wang to end the threat. Travinski picked off Wang in the fourth quarter, as well, and returned it for a touchdown.
